Day 72:
So, I’m taking the creature design class on Schoolism this summer with Anthony Jones.
Our first assignment was to design an original dragon. The way I sort of understood the assignment was that he sort of wants us to make a dragon that doesn’t LOOK like any dragon we’ve ever seen but still says “DRAGON” when you see it. I don’t think I did a very good job…

Print done in easy cut. Again, I really, really like doing prints. They’re a lot of fun.
Man, I’d really like to do a run of this and give some of them out… But eh, who would want them?
Day 69:
Someone came up to me while I was working on this and asked why the girl was so close to the tiger. I wasn’t quite sure how to respond…
I mean, I’ve never been in a blizzard with a tiger before, but I think I’d be more worried about freezing to death than getting mauled. Who knows? The tiger might be friendly!
Day 68:
Monocles, bow ties and top hats make everything better. Period.
Day 67:
So, we were supposed to make an animation with After Effects for our midterm. I wanted to recreate the intro to The Sound of Music, but with a cat instead of Julie Andrews… So yeah, I decided to try my hand at traditional animation.
It seemed like a good idea at the time… After all, I was just trying something completely new for my midterm. What could possibly go wrong?
It… didn’t go too well..
Day 66:
Some sketches from the Pratt Draw-A-Thon I went to. 12 hrs of drawing after three days of no sleep was hard, but I’m glad I went anyways
Day 65:
Tapirphanthorse is always a hit with the ladies. It is known.

Guess who’s not gonna sleep tonight, tomorrow or the next day?
I also did some Bridgeman studies, but no one wants to see those… So yeah. Afternoon well spent if you ask me. My professor may not agree tomorrow though…
